ACROSS ON TOUR - OPENING NIGHT

After a series of presentations of their work throughout Belgium, the eight young architecture firms Bauclub, Every Island, Laboratoire, Linto Architecture, Pashenko Works, Sophia Holst, Studio Ruben Castro and Wissel Architecture Studio are settling down at MAD in Brussels this summer for a group exhibition.

These young offices will present their architectural practice in response to the common theme of Transformation through a single project, represented in models, drawings and photographs.

The opening of the exhibition will take place June 15 at 6 p.m. and will begin with a lecture in which the eight firms, coming from all corners of Belgium, will present their architectural practice, following an introduction by Jörn Aram Bihain (V+ architecture).

Across on Tour is an initiative of A+ Architecture in Belgium, in co-production with MAD Brussels, the Institut Culturel d'Architecture Wallonie Bruxelles (ICA) and the Flemish Architecture Institute (VAi).

Na een een reeks presentaties over hun werk doorheen heel België, strijken de acht jonge architectenbureaus Bauclub, Every Island, Laboratoire, Linto Architecture, Pashenko Works, Sophia Holst, Studio Ruben Castro en Wissel Architectuur Studio zich deze zomer neer in het MAD in Brussel voor een groepstentoonstelling.

Deze jonge bureaus stellen hun architectuurpraktijk voor in reactie op het gemeenschappelijk thema Transformatie aan de hand van één project, weergegeven in maquettes, tekeningen en foto’s.

De opening van de tentoonstelling vindt plaats op 15 juni om 18.00 uur en begint met een lezing waarbij de acht bureaus, afkomstig uit alle hoeken van België, hun architectuurpraktijk voorstellen, na een inleiding door Jörn Aram Bihain (V+ architecture).

Après avoir parcouru la Belgique pour présenter leur travail, les huit jeunes bureaux d’architectes Bauclub, Every Island, Laboratoire, Linto Architecture, Pashenko Works, Sophia Holst, Studio Ruben Castro et Wissel Architectuur Studio posent leurs valises cet été au MAD à Bruxelles à l’occasion d’une exposition collective.

Ces jeunes bureaux présenteront leur pratique architecturale en répondant à la thématique commune qu’est la transformation en architecture au moyen d’un projet, représenté en maquettes, dessins ou encore photographies.

Le vernissage de l’exposition aura lieu le 15 juin prochain à partir de 18h et débutera par une conférence lors de laquelle les huit bureaux, venant des quatre coins de la Belgique, présenteront leur travail, accompagné.e.s par Jörn Aram Bihain (V+ architecture).
