Do you know where your milk comes from? This will be the first Brussels Coffee Week activity where we will be leaving the Brussels region for a BIKERIDE to Merchtem. We will visite the dairy farm of farmers Bart and Marijke. This decentralised dairy farm is the first pilot project by Lely in Belgium. Operated by robots, it produces and delivers fresh milk directly from the cow to your favorite coffee bar in Brussels. We will cycle in group to Merchtem, cuddle some happy cows and taste a delicious cappuccino.
- If you are joining by bike we will meet at 11am at the steps of the Bourse in Brussels and start cycling from there.
- If you are unable to join by bike, you can always take the train or car to Merchtem, with the Koeweidehof farm being a small walk from the station. Be sure to be there by 11:45am -12pm. Address: Koeweidestraat 25, 1785 Merchtem
