About this event
- Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes
Picture this: you're at The Nine in Brussels surrounded by a group of bold, inspiring women. There’s no judgment— just a circle of women sharing their lives. And the topic at hand? Money.
Yes, money—because it’s something we all think about, but never talk about.
This is NOT a panel. This is about real conversations between real women. There’s no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to money, and our three speakers prove it.
Each woman will tell her own personal story—her struggles, her triumphs, and how she’s navigating her financial life. Whether it’s dealing with student loans, buying her first apartment, or figuring out how to make her salary stretch while climbing the career ladder.
And as you listen you'll realize just how much we’re all in this together.
Think of it as a mini TED Talk, but much more interactive.
Then, after hearing from our speakers, there’ll be time for sharing from the audience, making sure everyone feels heard.
After hearing from the speakers, we’ll open the floor for the audience to share their stories, ask questions, and maybe even offer advice.
Meet The Speakers:
Antoaneta Roussi is a journalist specializing in security at Politico. She has moderated events on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference and the Paris Peace Forum. Previously, she was a freelance journalist in East Africa.
Federica Di Sario is a journalist specializing in energy and climate change. She has been a climate reporter at Politico for more than two years, covering climate and industrial policies. She has moderated events such as the Brussels Economic Forum and the European Gender Equality Institute’s annual report launch. Previously, she was the EU energy and climate correspondent at Carbon Pulse and a market reporter at ICIS.
Teresa Arístegui is a Spanish lawyer currently working for the European Commission. With a strong commitment to gender equality, she has been actively involved in promoting gender balance throughout her academic and professional journey.
Passionate about empowering women in finance and leadership, the three friends joined forces to launch Money Circles to help women navigate finance with confidence.
Why This Event?
Women often feel the weight of financial pressures differently than men, whether it’s due to unequal pay, financial illiteracy, societal expectations, or simply not having a space to talk openly about money; like group therapy but empowering women to take charge of their financial futures.
The Bigger Picture:
After this event, we’ll bring in a financial expert for the second edition to dive deeper into each of the women’s challenges, offering tailored advice and practical tips on how they could have handled their situations differently.
Who’s It For?
This is for women who want to talk about money without feeling judged. Whether you’re a seasoned professional, a new mom, or just starting out in your career – if you’ve ever struggled with your finances or simply wanted to hear from others in a similar situation, this event is for you.
Join us for a powerful conversation, a glass of wine, and the chance to be inspired by real women.
