Crash Course AI and creating music

Are you a songwriter, musician or producer or somehow involved in the creation process and want to discover what role AI can play? We got you! On June 11, VI.BE and Sabam will organize a Crash Course on AI and creating music.

What will you learn?

In this Crash Course, we will give a hands-on overview of creator tools, we learn how to use AI creatively and what the future may hold. We also scheduled two interactive workshops on songwriting and music production with AI as an assistant. To finish off we will shine a light on the legal implications and ethical question marks. Therefore we have invited a number of experts with various perspectives!

Timetable

13:30-14:15: opening keynote with Christopher Wieduwilt (The AI Musicpreneur)

14:30-15:00: workshop with Jasper Erkens (songwriter, artist): AI as songwriting assistant

15:00-15:30: workshop with Brecht De Man (PXL Research): AI and production, mixing and mastering

15:45-17:00: panel: AI vs. legal, ethical and cultural question marks (tbc)

17:00-18:00 networking drink by Sabam

Practicals

Target audience: we aim primarily at artists and other creatives: authors, composers, musicians, DJs and producers or basically anyone who is involved in the creation process in one way or another.

Price: € 35 or €15 for Sabam members
