Dedham Library Innovation Team

DLIT is a 501c3 non-profit committed to supporting the strategic vision & development of a best-in-class, vibrant public & school library system in Dedham. We believe that libraries can and should be vibrant "community centers" - where we celebrate and nurture learning, arts, culture and community development. In 2015, DLIT was honored with a Massachusetts School Library Association Advocate Award. Each year, DLIT uses the proceeds from this annual fundraiser to support our public and school libraries with grant requests for new technology, materials, publications and paid programming. We sponsor films, author events, children's programming and community-wide advocacy for our libraries, with the eventual goal of creating a first-class library system for the town of Dedham.
