Oktoberfest Massachusetts

Oktoberfest Massachusetts, also known as Oktoberfest Amherst, is a beer & music festival near UMass Amherst.

The event was started in 2015 by UMass students in response to the negative publicity that the students were receiving for unsanctioned day parties and rowdy student behavior. The event was a safe haven for students to celebrate in a controlled environment and for a cause. The event sold out with multiple stages, vendors, and a diverse music lineup which helped raise over $10,000 for Rays of Hope, Baystate Medical Center's Breast Cancer Division.

Oktoberfest Amherst is back for its 9th annual event on Saturday October 19, 2024!
