Stork's Nest Charity Fund of Dallas

SNCFD is an organization through which community outreach endeavors are made. More specifically we are involved in the granting of scholarships, the development of youth enrichment projects and the carrying out of community volunteerism efforts. These volunteer efforts not only offer services to the local communities in the Dallas Ft. Worth area but also assist other not-for-profit organizations with reaching their goals to improve and empower our communities.

Through the Project H.E.R. initiative, SNCFD sponsors several programs including: 1) Stork’s Nest Education Program – an education program for low-income pregnant women which focuses on pre-natal care in an effort to prevent low birth-weight, premature births and infant deaths; 2) Stork’s Nest - an incentive based program which distributes infant/child clothing, items and supplies to participants who successfully complete SNEP; 3) Blue Revue - a comprehensive 9-month long Mentoring and Scholarship Program for female high school juniors and seniors that provides mentorship opportunities and educational enrichment workshops with activities designed to motivate, engage and assist the participants in reaching their maximum potential culminating in a presentation program that spotlights the accomplishments of the participants and awards scholarships to further their academic endeavors.
